One of my favorite things to do is explore the hidden gems—those cozy, independent cafes and unique shops you won't find on TikTok or Instagram. The Temmabashikyomachi and Tanimachi areas are my go-to spots right now. If you're into art, a stroll around Kira Ward is a must for its fantastic galleries. Yuri was a thoughtful guide who adjusted the tour to fit our interests in Osaka. We visited Osaka Castle, explored the food market, checked out the anime district, and finished with a classic Osaka meal. Yuri’s knowledge of the area added a lot to the tour, and we’d recommend her to anyone looking to see Osaka with a local perspective.

Yuri was great FYI, Osaka castle is a self guided tour. You can get audio or read the descriptions. Yuri took us to the downtown area of Osaka which was fascinating. Looked like time square. Then she helped us get back to our train station to get back to Kyoto We happen to be at Osaka castle park where a huge festival was going on. It was like carnival or Mardi Gras
