I’m not even sure where to even begin!! We visited Bangkok for 2 days as a stop on our Royal Caribbean cruise. From our first contacts with Zarut prior to our arrival, he was nothing short of AMAZING!! He was prompt in communication responses and fully engaged in making our visit memorable before, during, and after our time in Bangkok. Zarut went above and beyond when he found out that we were celebrating our 35th anniversary and took it upon himself to notify the hotel who then decorated our room! By the end of our two days we not only felt that we had experienced much of Bangkok, we felt that we have gained a new friend! We can not wait to return to Bangkok and see more of this wonderful city…but also to see Zarut again!! He absolutely made our time in Bangkok more meaningful, memorable, and magical than we could have possibly ever imagined! Do yourself a favor and request Zarut to be your guide!! We have traveled the world and visited many different countries and cities and had many different guides. Zarut is the ABSOLUTE BEST Guide we have ever met!! Bangkok is lucky to have Zarut as an asset to their city. We consider ourselves blessed having met Zarut!!

Zarut was amazing! He tailored our two days in Bangkok to the things we wanted to see and do. As “foodies”, he went out of his way to ensure we had a “taste” of everything. We had local restaurant food, street food, floating market food….all wonderful. Zarut led us all over the city….walking, metro/train, taxi, and even boat. In addition, since we arrived via cruise ship, Zarut arranged for a private transfer from the port to the city….and back to the ship after our two days together. This tour was fantastic in every way!!

I recently booked a tour with a local guide, Zarut, and it was an incredible experience. Zarut truly brought the Grand Palace and Reclining Buddha to life, offering insights that deepened my appreciation for these iconic sites. He shared fascinating stories about the history and mythology behind the art, architecture, and statues. For example, I had no idea that the warriors surrounding many of the buildings are believed to be holding up the earth to prevent it from toppling over. Or that the multi-headed snakes seen throughout the architecture are said to bring good rains to Thailand, ensuring bountiful crops for the people. I also learned that the large warrior statues with bats are guardians of hell, similar to angels, protecting people from evil spirits. And that's just a glimpse of what he shared! I highly recommend booking a tour with this agency and specifically requesting Zarut as your guide. He is incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and speaks excellent English. Touring Bangkok’s main attractions with him will undoubtedly enhance your experience and help you see the city in a whole new light.
