My name is Ryuki, and I was born and raised in Kyoto. I am a University student studying English literature. I currently work in the hospitality industry and love meeting and getting to know new people. Kyoto is home to me; it represents my family, my friends, and my life-long memories. I love my city for its fusion of history and culture, and how it is always evolving. Kyoto is gorgeous throughout all the four seasons, so I am sure you are going to make lifetime memories during your trip. On my list of must-see places, you may find Kiyomizu temple and Fushimi Inari - its beautiful torii (red gate) path up to the mountain cannot be matched anywhere in the world. Ryuki organised a wonderful custom tour for us taking into account our priorities to nicely complement what we had already seen. He is not only knowledgeable about the tourist spots but also shared great insights about the culture, history and contemporary living. Ryuki was a first class guide. He customised our tour to complement what we had already seen. His English proficiency was excellent and knowledge of the culture, history and contemporary living was communicated clearly. He was willing to engage in detailed conversation which gave us a deeper understanding of all aspects of Kyoto. We really felt that this was our special tour.
